Gene Gendel

Gene Gendel is an organizational design consultant, adaptive & lean coach and trainer, and independent adviser to senior leadership. Almost 15 of 20+ years of his professional experience – Gene dedicated to working with companies of various sizes and lines of business, trying to help them improve internal dynamics, organizational structure and becoming a better place to work. In his work, Gene uses various methods, tools and techniques to amplify learning by others and to ensure that people gain autonomy after Gene “coaches himself out of the job”. One of very few in the US Certified LeSS Trainers and Coaches. His company (KSTS Consulting) is the only Certified LeSS Coaching company in the US.

Kimberly Hagen is an IT and project management professional with over 30 years of experience spanning technical support, infrastructure leadership, and agile transformation. She has held diverse roles including Release Train Engineer, Scrum Master, Business Analyst, and IT Operations Manager, consistently driving success across complex technical and organizational initiatives. Kimberly brings deep expertise in agile practices, project execution, and cross-functional team coaching to every engagement.

Hugo Lourenço is an entrepreneur and founder of The Agile Thinkers, where he has built a reputation for excelling in working with leaders and teams to turn agility into real impact by adapting to the context, utilizing the right frameworks and methods, alongside Human Factors and Human and Organizational Performance. With a background that bridges business, human factors, and team performance, he serves as a trainer, mentor, and advisor to organizations seeking to adapt more quickly and improve their performance.

He created the Management Summit (formerly World Management Agility Forum) as a global meeting point for fresh thinking in management and leadership. He also launched initiatives such as Agile Human Factors and High-Performance Teaming, highlighting the critical role of people, trust, and collaboration in complex environments.

Hugo’s mission is simple: to equip people and organizations with the skills and mindset to thrive in uncertainty, achieve meaningful results, and build teams that work at their best, even under pressure.

Organizational change leadership veteran, entrepreneur, author, speaker and consultant, Jim teaches and coaches leaders at all levels, from the front-line to the C-suite, how to transform their organization’s world of work.  Over the course of his career, Jim has led 16 organizational change efforts of various kinds, at various levels, in various functions, at various companies under various economic conditions. His experience has been on the field, not from the sidelines or the stands.  This real-life experience enables him to move from concept and theory to pragmatic issues in a heartbeat.  Jim has integrated the lessons he’s learned over the course of this experience creating the BHG Framework for leading organizational change.  Now he teaches this field-proven framework and its use to enlightened and motivated leaders and teams at all levels. Jim is a co-founder of agilityIRL and does emerge from retirement when great client engagements come along.

Hubert   Small

Hubert Smits

Hubert Smits started his career in software development, in the Netherlands. He has developed his project management skills from the ground up, from programmer to designer to project management.

A 2001 project in Scotland got him into working in iterative and team-building way. After signing the Agile Manifesto in 2002 and organizing the first Certified Scrum Master class in Scotland, he continued his Agile journey with Ken Schwaber, Mary Poppendieck, and other early participants in the Agile world.

In 2016 (already living and working in the US), he shifted his focus from exploring agility in the software world to the world of industry, hardware, and manufacturing. He rewrote his training materials and published articles on the topic. He co-authored the Industrial Agile Framework with Peter Borsella, and together they organized the first Scrum for Industry gathering, where the “Charter for Agile Product Development” was written. Prior clients come from the electronic, medical, spacecraft, and semiconductor industry.

Now Hubert coaches organizations in their move towards iterative product development, and uses the Scrum framework, Lean practices, and tools like model-based system engineering.

Bonsy Yelsangi

Bonsy is a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) and an Agile Coach with overall 17 years of experience. She has helped organizations and individuals attain agility in industries including media, remote managed services, luxury real estate, aviation, automotive, hospitals and private wealth management.

She has trained and coached a wide range of teams, business departments, project managers and senior executives in developing an Agile mindset. Bonsy’s virtual classes are one of the most visual, engaging and interactive. She uses real-life examples from her extensive Scrum Master experience which helps participants relate with their current situations.

Bonsy recently published her co-authored book “Sprint Your Way to Scrum” which provides practical, succinct, and effective answers to 50 of the most common questions about Scrum.
